Shred World-Class Trails

Fruita is one of Colorado’s premier MTB playgrounds.

Feeling spicy? Kokopelli’s got switchbacks and technical lines that’ll make you question your life choices. Want a chill ride? Hit 18 Road and soak in the views. Bottom line: if you love dirt, you’ll love it here.

Let’s be clear: Roam Fest is for experienced mountain bikers. No joke. Aunty strongly discourages brand-new and underskilled riders from rolling up thinking this is some casual cruise through the park. Check out our Skills Ratings page before you sign up.

Want to maximize your fun and minimize your suffering? Upgrade your ticket to include shuttle access. Hop on, sit back, and get chummy with fellow Roamies before dropping in on some world-class singletrack.

Looking for the best route? Upgrade with Guided Rides and enjoy for one of our expertly curated routes led by local trail whisperers (because getting lost is overrated.)

Inclusion Programs

Inclusion programming is about creating spaces and opportunities where everyone feels welcome, valued, and respected.

It goes beyond simply inviting diverse individuals to participate; it actively dismantles barriers and fosters a sense of belonging.

We partner closely with non-profit’s like The Roam Collective to bring intentional programs to Roam Fest:

- BIPOC Fellowship

- Roam Rowdies Black WMTB

- Para/Adaptive Program

- Deaf Shredders

- Roam Media Core

- The Cycle Effect

Reach out to our Director of People & Culture Rachel Olzer if you’d like to join one of these programs.

Workshops

Touch Bikes. Get Feral. Learn Something New.

Workshops are part of your pass and almost as big of a deal at Roam as the riding (we said almost people, the riding is pretty rad)...

Our partners fully embrace their mission to provide tangible, educational, and fun-first learning opportunities to Roamies via partner-led workshops.

Some of our past favs:

- Bleed Yo Brakes with pro Juliana mechanics

- A Wheel Education with Industry Nine

- Learn to Ride More Playfully w/ legend Angi Weston

When your legs are toast and you just can't crank the pedals one more revolution, there are dozens of workshops to keep the stoke fueled all weekend long.

Check back closer to the festival for our Workshop Schedule.

Juliana SHREDTalks Panel

An Evening of Bold Inspiring Voices

The SHREDTalks panel launched at the first Roam Fest in 2017. Originally, the panel brought together femmes working in cycling to demystify the process of breaking into the industry.

In 2021, the panel shifted, alongside the industry, to facilitate conversations around diversity, equity, access, and belonging in cycling and the outdoors.

Currently, the SHREDTalks panel serves to continue facilitating conversations about diversity, equity, and inclusion, increase representation, and promote allyship in cycling and the outdoors.

Specialized Dance Party & Happiest Hour

An evening of neon delight.

Costumes, body paint, mocktails, cocktails, snacks, and all the revelry—this isn’t just happy hour, it’s Happiest Hour, supported by an amazing lineup of vendors.

You’re also cordially invited to an all-femme dance party with zero male gaze & hundreds of friends to boogie down with. Sounds good, we're in!

From Whitney to Bad Bunny and everything in between (including those slower songs so we can get a damn drink and take a dang break), we've got a little somethin' for everyone to get down to.

Bust out the neon glow Roamies and get ready to shuffle, hip swing, and belt out the night away.

Peak Design Adventure Film Fest

A Wondrous Hour of Adventure

Throw on your extra layers, grab some (provided) popcorn & drinks, and join hundreds of filmgoers for an evening of Roam curated femme-focused adventure films.

The Roam Fest Adventure Film Tour, presented by Peak Design showcases the latest (and some of our classic favorite) films with a heavy emphasis on riding - but every once in a while a climbing film is just too epic for us not to share.

Meet & greet filmmakers & featured athletes, many attend the festival!

What People Are Saying

“One of the best run events I've ever attended. Add in a slew of rad women in all shapes, sizes, and backgrounds and you'll leave this event with tired legs, more laugh lines, & a happy heart.”
